Canada men win Olympic Gold on Team Pursuit!!
Congratulations to Denny Morrison, Lucas Makowsky and Mathieu Giroux!
Denny Morrison (24) is a longtrack ice speedskater from Fort St. John, British Colombia- Canada.
He has been working on fullfilling his ultimate goal:
Win gold at the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver.
With a silver medal from the Team Pursuit from the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy- Denny Morrison started his long road to Vancouver 4 years ago.
The past four years, Morrison became a regular feature on the podium in the 1.000m aswell as the 1.500. After several victories in the 1.000m in the World Cup cirquit, he became the 2008 World Champion and World Record holder in the 1.500 meters.
But the past years, Denny Morrison has also raced the Team Pursuit, the World Sprint Championships
aswell as the World Allround Championships.
During the 2010 Olympics in Canada, Denny competed in the 5.000m (18th), 1.000m (13th) and 1.500m (9th).

Together with Lucas Makowsky and Mathieu Giroux, Denny Morrison raced to two new Olympic Records in the first rounds of the Team Pursuit. They raced against team USA in the final and claimed the gold.
