The City of Fort St. John is gearing up for the Grand Opening of the Enerplex! The Community Services Department has been putting together a very exciting schedule of celebrations that will showcase our newest state-of-the-art recreation facility

On October 13, 2010, we will be holding the official ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 6:00pm. Come out and enjoy local entertainment, the official ribbon cutting and to top off the evening, a fireworks display signifying the Grand Opening. Denny Morrison will also be on site to sign autographs

On October 14, 2010, we are planning a community day at the Enerplex.  We welcome all community members down to the Enerplex for a fun afternoon exploring the facility and enjoying the many free activities that are planned. Come watch Denny and Jay Morrison race each other on the speed skating oval at 6:00pm!

Time: 4:00pm-8:00pm

Featuring Hockey, Figure Skating, Speed Skating, and running. Come and try theses sports out for free with our local organizations.

Children are required to wear full equipment when participating in hockey on community   day. Helmets, pads and gloves are required.
